Terms of Service
Welcome to Coale. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Coale mobile application (the "App") operated by Astute Web.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the App.
1. License to Use the App
Astute Web grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
- Premium Features: Certain features of Coale require an active premium subscription.
- Billing: Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment will be charged to your relevant app store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
3. User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy
Coale allows users to share messages, drawings, and media with a paired partner. Astute Web maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding objectionable content and abusive users.
A. Objectionable Content
You agree not to use the App to create, upload, or share content that:
- Is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, or constitutes an invasion of a right of privacy of another person.
- Is bigoted, hateful, or racially or otherwise offensive.
- Is violent, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise sexually explicit.
- Violates the law or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense.
B. Reporting and Moderation
- Reporting: You may flag and report any objectionable content or abusive behavior directly within the App using the "Report" feature.
- Blocking: You may block your paired partner at any time using the "Block User" feature, which will sever the connection and prevent further interaction.
- Enforcement: We commit to acting on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. Astute Web reserves the right to remove any content and immediately, permanently ban any user account that violates these Terms without prior notice or refund.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Astute Web be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of or in connection with your access or use or inability to access or use the App.
5. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes within the App.
